Volunteer & Logistics Director
Lisa works for a major health insurance carrier, providing consulting services to physicians and hospitals in the west Michigan area. She has been a recreational runner for the past 15 years. She got involved in triathlons last year on a dare and has completed several races since. "If I were a child, I would spend my day swimming, biking, running. So I approach each race with childlike energy and a sense of fun."
"I'm never going to win a triathlon on my own. And training for selfish reasons has gotten boring. But to train in order to provide someone else with the opportunity to share in the fun and exhilaration of participating in a tri - now that's pure joy!"
Her efforts will be focused on the recruitment of volunteers as well as coordinating the logistics for our events. She will also coordinate the non-team volunteers on the event days and assist in fundraising efforts.
